In 2011, MSNBC commissioned director Spike Lee to create a series of 30-Second commercials featuring a selection of their most popular anchors to promote their new rebranding campaign philosophy, ‘Lean Forward’.

Spike’s frequent collaborator Oscar- nominated ‘Black Swan’ cinematographer Matthew Libatique served as director of photography on all of the commercials and DESIGNINHUES as storyboard artists.

The ads are brief, catchy, and successfully presented with a documentary-like vibe.
